Residential Mental Health & Substance Abuse Treatment

The Y.E.S. House provides residential treatment services for boys and girls ages 10 to 17. This program is for youth who need treatment for substance abuse and/or mental health. Youth are supervised on a 24-hour basis by trained staff to manage moderate to severe behavior problems as well as psychiatric and substance abuse/ chemical dependency disorders.

The Y.E.S. House believes in keeping the family together whenever possible and working with them to find solutions for the problems. Both youth and parents are involved in each step. The average length of a youth stay is 6 to 9 months.

The Y.E.S. House focuses on providing youth with the tools and skills they need to be successful. Youth and families are given the information and skills to make positive choices along with the opportunity to practice these new skills.

Each youth has an individual behavioral program outlining goals. It is developed by a team of professionals at the Y.E.S. House along with the parent(s) and the youth. Each youth is provided with weekly individual counseling sessions. Counseling occurs seven days a week in an effort to expand youth’s awareness of themselves and others around them. Education is provided on anger management, addictions, independent living skills, parent/child relations, peer relations, employment, educational skills and building self-esteem.

The Y.E.S. House Residential Treatment Centers are C.A.R.F. (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited and meet the highest standards for treatment services nationally and internationally.
